CARRYING 133 PEOPLE AEROPLANE CRASHES : CHINA

 

A China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 plane carrying 133 people on board has crashed in Guangxi Province, Chinese state media is reporting today.

 

The number of casualties is not yet known.

 

The crash, in a mountains region, led to a fire in the woods, state media was reporting.

 

Flight MU5737 was scheduled to leave Kunming at 1315 pm and was en route to Guangzhou.
